New Digital Craft (NDC) develops CO₂-storing materials and combines them with digital manufacturing to enable a new generation of sustainable building and urban space solutions.

Our focus is on developing cement-free materials that bind CO₂ long-term through the use of biochar and, together with additive manufacturing technologies, create new possibilities for architecture, landscape architecture, and public spaces. Digital planning, computational design, and 3D printing form a seamless development and production process – from material innovation to a mass-produced product.

With Coalymer We have developed our first market-ready product: a CO₂-storing piece of urban furniture that demonstrates how design, material innovation, and climate protection can merge into an economically scalable solution. Coalymer is also the starting point for a growing product family of climate-positive elements for public spaces.

Our vision extends far beyond individual products. We are convinced that in the future, cities will not only produce fewer emissions, but will themselves become part of the climate protection solution. By 2050, street furniture, public squares, facades, and other building components should function as active CO₂ storage, thus transforming the built environment into a long-term carbon sink.

New Digital Craft positions itself as a ConstructionTech and GreenTech company at the intersection of materials research, computational design, and digital manufacturing. Together with industry partners, we develop scalable solutions for a climate-neutral and circular construction industry.
